About Shea

I love my work.  I love knowing that I am able to pursue making a difference in peoples lives on a daily basis. I love star gazing and the wonderment of the vast universe.  I love flowers as they carry an expression of unmistakable amazement in every aspect of their design.  I love boating, swimming in the ocean and stand up paddling. I love to travel and explore new places.  I'd like to consider myself a "foodie" as I do love food. I enjoy cooking and grilling throughout the year.  Some of my other interests include music, nature, rocks and crystals, laughing (who doesn't love a good laugh),physiology, pathology and design.

I am a graduate from East West College of the Healing Arts in the year 2000 and received my Oregon License. A decade later, in 2010, I tested with the State of Hawaii Massage Board and received my massage license so that I may practice when I visit the islands. So far, Maui has my heart.  I try to get over once or twice a year to relax, rejuvenate, work and play. 

My philosophy of massage therapy is to aid one's own body to heal itself. It's aimed at achieving and/or increasing health and well-being.  For that reason, it is my goal to guide each client through this process of healing. Whether it be for muscle tension or joint pain, relaxation or stress reduction, headache relief, increased energy or spiritual empowerment, I provide massage that is specific to the the needs of each individual.
